23 December, 2009, 11:02
US Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who is circulating a resolution to end the war in Afghanistan, says he is simply trying to reclaim the forgotten constitutional responsibility of Congress to start and end war.
Kucinich reminds the basi…

Dear Rep. Rohrabacher,
I am an Alabama resident.
I think plaintiffs' lawyers impede the country's economic recovery. I also think they undermine business ethics. They particularly stand in the way of sensible medical malpractice reform as a way to lower the nation's health care costs.
I have a blog
How To Combat Plaintiffs' Lawyers where I record my efforts to communicate with lawmakers, judges, attorney generals and academics,…

THE COW AND THE ICE CREAM
ONE OF THE BEST EXPLANATIONS
OF WHY OBAMA WON THE ELECTION
From a teacher in the Nashville area
We are worried about ‘the cow’
when it is all about the ‘Ice Cream.’
The most eye-opening civics
lesson I ever had was while
teaching third grade this year…
The presidential election was
heating up and some of the children
showed an interest. I decided we
would have an election for a
class president. We would choose
our nomin…

Subject: Math for Dummies
This is too true to be funny.
The next time you hear a politician use the
Word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
Whether you want the 'politicians' spending
YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
But one advertising agency did a good job of
Putting that figure into some perspective in
One of it's releases.
A.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were
Livin…

Superstar CBS Reporter Blows the Lid Off the Swine Flu Media Hype and Hysteria
Dear Friends,
The overstatement of swine flu is from 6 fold to close to 100 fold. They aren't even counting. So the 20 Million number just released is a complete fabrication. So now we have in less than one week the following:
1) ACORN fraud and strategies as directed by Unions and liberal groups (see yesterday's San Diego ACORN document release),
2) HASAN killing 14 after being on the OBAMA Homeland Security Team…

J.P. Freire: California is overregulated, overtaxed, and just plain over
By: J.P. Freire
Associate Commentary Editor
November 13, 2009 First of an occasional series
In July, when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger called for a "Commission on the 21st Century Economy," it was hoped the group of experts could provide a way to finally resolve California's budget woes.
When the commission issued its report at the end of September, however, the recommendations fell to the floor with a resounding thud. Defe…

OBAMACARE ENDORSEMENTS: WHAT THE BRIBE WAS
By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN
Published on TheHill.com on November 6, 2009
As the suicidal Democratic congressmen proceed to rubber-stamp the Obama healthcare reform despite the drubbing their party took in the '09 elections, the president trotted out the endorsements of the AMA and the AARP to stimulate support. But these -- and the other endorsements -- his package has received are all bought and paid for.
Here are the deals:
* The America…

Twenty-two years ago President Reagan's speechwriters were called together by Chief Speechwriter Tony Dolan. It was a meeting that was to have enormous consequences. The five of us considered ourselves the Musketeers of the White House, protecting the crown jewels which were the ideals and principles of President Reagan himself. Fellow speechwriter Peter Robinson had just returned from Europe where he had been part of the advance team for President Reagan's upcoming visit to the continent. Peter…

I am horrified that the petitions against the healthcare bills were blocked from delivery. This is absolutely unbelievable in our country! Petitions signed by your constituents were blocked from being delivered unless they were some of the first few in the doors. In case they didn't get to you, I humbly request on all of their behalf that you vote against and stand in anyway you possibly can against Government run Healthcare and any further Government take over or intervention in our private liv…

Tom Delay and others had their careers destroyed because of accusations and not convictions of wrongdoing. Whether it’s Charlie Rangel or Tom Delay or Joe McDade (who had to give up a lifetime of seniority because he was indicted by a politically-motivated prosecutor. . . later to be found totally innocent of all charges, but the damage was done, his career was over), they should not be punished until they are found guilty of a crime. Punishing a leader who has only been accused of wrongdoing (n…
