ROHRABACHER PLAYS A LEADING ROLE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Thanks to Congressman Rohrabacher's efforts and those of Congressman Tom Tancredo and others like him in the House of Representatives, the House passed an effective anti-illegal immigration bill. The legislation would dramatically strengthen the border and invigorate enforcement of immigration laws, especially concerning employers hiring illegals. The Senate, however, has been focusing on legislation that would only worsen the problem of illegal immigration. The alternative legislation being considered by the Senate focuses on the establishment of a guest worker program and normalizing the status of those who are now in our country illegally (that's amnesty, whatever way you call it). Congressman Rohrabacher has appeared on numerous radio and television programs debating in favor of the House bill and explaining the great damage illegal immigration is doing to the American people.

Congressman Rohrabacher advocates cutting off all government benefits to those who are in our country illegally. He also supports strengthening the border and holding employers accountable for hiring illegals. He believes that such a policy would result in a large number of illegals going home voluntarily. He also believes it is immoral to use our limited education and health resources to help those who are here illegally at the expense of U.S. citizens and legal residents.
